At CutieSquad, we are committed to the safety and quality of our products. We comply with all relevant European safety regulations, including the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR).

Why is product safety important?

Product safety protects consumers from potential risks such as choking hazards, harmful substances, or improper use. We work closely with our manufacturers to ensure all our products meet the highest safety standards.

How do we ensure compliance?

All products comply with the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) and REACH regulations, ensuring they are free from harmful substances. Our apparel is GOTS-, GRS-, OEKO-TEX- and PETA-certified for ethical and sustainable production. Each product is assigned a batch number for traceability and quality control.

General safety warnings

  • Not suitable for children under 3 years. Small parts may present a choking hazard.
  • Keep away from open flames and extreme heat.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture where applicable.
  • Handle with care as some products may have sharp edges, such as buttons and bookmarks.
  • Dispose of responsibly and check local recycling options.
  • Always check product-specific warnings on labels or packaging.

  • Die-Cut Stickers: White vinyl with a matte finish, water-resistant but not waterproof.
  • Sticker Sheets: High-quality vinyl with a matte finish.
  • Bumper Stickers: White vinyl with a matte finish, water-resistant but not waterproof.
  • Stickerbooks: Wire-bound with release paper for easy sticker removal.

Stationery

  • Notebooks & Journals: A5 size with 100gsm uncoated paper.
  • Bookmarks: 300gsm matte cardstock.
  • Sticky Notes: Standard 80gsm paper with repositionable adhesive.
  • Washi Tape: 10m rolls of decorative Japanese rice paper tape.
  • Postcards: 350gsm cardstock with a matte finish.

Apparel

  • T-shirts: 100% cotton with DTF print.
  • Socks: 80% cotton, 15% polyester, 5% elastane.*
  • Tote Bags: 100% organic cotton.

Accessories

  • Buttons: Metal with a protective coating and secure pin backing.
  • Keychains & Phone Grips: Acrylic with an epoxy layer, attached to metal rings.
  • Lanyards: Polyester with metal clips.
  • Cleaning Cloths: Soft microfibre, suitable for glasses and screens.
  • Bags: 100% organic cotton.

Lifestyle & Gifts

  • Plush: 100% polyester. Not suitable for children under 3 years.
  • Deskmats: Polyester top with a rubber base.
  • Water Bottles: 700ml BPA-free plastic with a flip straw. Suitable for cold and medium-warm beverages only. Not dishwasher or microwave safe.
  • Mugs: Ceramic with a glossy finish.

Batch numbers & traceability

Recycling & disposal

  • Stickers: Vinyl-based materials are typically not recyclable, dispose of with general waste.
  • Paper products: Recyclable where facilities exist. Remove any metal binding before recycling.
  • Water bottles: BPA-free plastic, check local recycling options.
  • Clothing & accessories: Donate or recycle at textile collection points.
